2009 Anchorages

  WHERE ARE WE?
  August 30, 2009 -- East Rous

We finally upped anchor and left Oak Bay for points east. Cakaro led us out the east entrance of Oak Bay, which is guarded by several unmarked large rocks just under the surface. Once out of the rocks, we set sail for someplace east. We had a great sail to the Waubuno Channel and finally took the sails down when we were off of the entrance to East Rous.

East Rous is our standard stop west of Little Current when we want to get into Little Current early the next day.
