2009 Anchorages

  WHERE ARE WE?
  August 16-17, 2009 -- Turnbull Island

We left John Harbour and sailed to Turnbull Island. Turnbull Island is one of our favorite anchorages dating from our 1987 trip. Well protected, Turnbull has lots to explore by dinghy and kayak. There was even an eagle´s nest with a juvenile that mother was trying to kick out of the nest.

After our solitude in John Harbour, we met up with E Z Baby, Fairy Tale, Class Act, and Basic Boat (aka Kahlua III) in Turnbull and enjoyed several happy hours and dinghy trips. It was fun.
