Leaving the Benjamins, there was no wind and we tentatively planned on joining Quintessence in or around Eagle Island. Then the wind picked up, we put up the spinnaker and sailed west. After a great sail ended up a little south of John Harbour and were able to use the east entrance into the harbor. After a bit of tricky navigation, we anchored, all by ourselves off of the north shore of the Harbour. We apologized to Quintessence saying we couldn´t pass up a fun sail (Karel agreed).
We had fun all by ourselves, fishing and dinghying about the harbor and going out into the Whalesback Channel to take pictures of Fairy Tale, Class Act, Basic Boat and E Z Baby as they sailed by.
