We left Picnic Cove and basically motored west in light winds, going south of Rous Island and north of Clapperton Island to South Benjamin Harbour. There were several boats already there, but not a problem. We just anchored closer to the entrance.
South Benjamin Harbour is one of the more popular stops in the North Channel. It is fairly well protected from all but south winds. If the wind is from the southwest, you can get a roll but it´s still not bad plus as there is great hiking, kayaking and dinghying plus there are large quantities of blueberries. |
