Disaster!
We had spent a couple nights serenely at anchor when in mid-day the anchor broke free. Fortunately, we were on board and were able to get the engine started before anything bad happened. We were not exactly prepared to move on and it was quite a circus with us trying to corral our dinghy and kayaks, etc. so that we could try to get the anchor down again. After due consideration we decided the heck with it and moved back to the west side where we knew the holding was good. We dinghied over for the remainder of the rally. |
