Another harbor that we kept hearing about was Snug Harbour so we had to give it a try. While we couldn't (wouldn't) sail out of McGregor Bay, we raised sails as soon as we were out of McGregor and kept them up until we well just outside of Snug Harbour.

Snug Harbour is snug and DEEP. We kept thinking it would get shallower as we got closer to the end of the harbor. No. We went from 20 some feet to 40 some feet, so we went back and found a 21 foot area to anchor in. it was secure but we had to let out a lot of scope. It is a pretty harbor with trails. you can hike.
