The Pool is one of those must sees if you´re in the North Channel. Two problems, one it´s crowded because everybody has got to be there and two it´s weedy and hard to anchor. We must be living right -- nobody was there and we got the anchor to set in only two tries. The other thing about The Pool is the hiking which we did. There are also mosquitoes which Day fed

The route from Marianne Cove is fairly deep with the rocks well charted. However at the end, in the Google picture, you'll see several islands and a long narrow channel leading into The Pool. It helps to have local knowledge to get between the islands and into The Narrows to miss several rock ledges.
