2008 Anchorages

  WHERE ARE WE?
  June 22 - 23, 2008 -- Marianne Cove

Marianne Cove is one of the most popular anchorages in the North Channel, for good reason. It is picturesque, easy to get into, has a beautiful hiking trail (see last year's visit), etc. Accordingly, we entered Baie Fine expecting to see lots of boats there and were pleasantly surprised to see Marianne Cove empty. With no plans we swung in and stayed a couple of nights all by ourselves.
The route into Baie Fine and Marianne Cove is well marked with buoys; and, to get into Marianne Cove, just wait until in is due south and motor on in missing the rock ledges and the entrance.
