Monday, June 11, 2007 to Tuesday, June 12, 2007 -- Torresen Marine, Muskegon
We went for a ferryboat ride from Milwaukee to Muskegon. Guess what, if the boat is going 40 knots, there is a 40 knot wind over the deck. We stayed inside but Craig did supervise the departure and arrival.
Toucan was in the water, but still need some work on the engine. Most got done on the 12th but Jeff, the motor guy (a perfect copy of Captain Ron and just as likable but more competent), thought we should get a new alternator. He found one -- a better one than we had but cheaper. As it had to be shipped, we decided to sail off and Craig could install it later. (Jeff said Craig should have no problem -- more on this later.)
