We've got to get to Phoenix for Grace's wedding so on the road again. Rather than take the expressway, we decided to take US 90 West through Louisiana. But the road became the same oh, same oh with traffic and traffic lights. Day finally relented and let Craig bail and get back to I-10. Actually I-10 was kind of interesting as it seemed to be one big bridge over the bayous and swamps, lots of Cypress and water before you get to Baton Rouge, then lots of refineries.

We had reserved a site for the night but it turned out to be amid the refineries and a little to "rustic" even for us. (Three-fourths of the sites were permanently occupied and looked it). Day went in, got her check back and we stopped at the first place we found -- a KOA. Very nice but it cost $36.00. Day is still mumbling about excessive charges. Craig is still mumbling about the road to the KOA -- under construction, one way, steep edges and barely enough room to drive an RV through.
